This card enables operatives to carry out all duties as outlined in the Labourer Card.
Operatives are expected to have a greater technical understanding of the Demolition Industry.
The operative would have demonstrated adequate knowledge of activities as per scheme guidelines in the CCDO Scheme Guidance Notes.
PLEASE NOTE: IF THE OPERATIVE DOES NOT ACHIEVE OVER 80% ON THE ASSESSMENT, THE ASSESSOR WILL AWARD THE OPERATIVE WITH THE EXPERIENCED WORKER (MATTOCKMAN) CARD PROVIDING HE MEETS THE RELEVANT STANDARD.

Please note, Asbestos Awareness Courses must have been taken within the last year and have been carried out by a UKATA or NDTG approved Training Provider. Demolition Safety Awareness Courses must have been carried out in the last 3 years and have been carried out by an NDTG approved Training Provider

This card is not renewable.
This card must be qualified through the Demolition NVQ (QCF)-QUA829 within the 3 year card life.
Once the NVQ (QCF) has been achieved, a Full Topman Card can be applied for
Cost per Full CCDO Assessment - £150 + VAT
Cost per Upgrade CCDO Assessment (e.g. upgrade from labourer to Experienced Worker) - £100 + VAT
A £15 Card Fee is applicable to all assessments (in addition to the above fees).>
All cheques to be made payable to NDTG Ltd unless otherwise stated on the CCDO Form.
The maximum number of full CCDO Assessments an Assessor can complete in one day is:
- Five Demolition Operative Labourer Assessments
- Four Demolition Operative Topman Assessments
Travelling expenses of £150 flat rate will be invoiced on completion of the assessments.
