Demolition Site Operative

Years Experience: Less than 1 year
Aimed at: New Entrants Only
Valid For: 2 years (NOT RENEWABLE)

This card enables new or inexperienced operatives access to site but the card holder will only be permitted to carry out basic site duties.What The card limits the level of work the operative can carry out on site.

It is hoped that once an operative has been employed in the demolition sector for more than a year they should be put forward for industry assessment which will give them a Demolition Operative (Labourer) card.

Step 1

Application form CCDO/3 from ConstructionSkills or NFDC, NDTG

Step 2

Has attended a recent Asbestos Awareness/Demolition Safety Awareness Course. Contact your nearest NDTG Approved Training Centre.

Please note, Asbestos Awareness Courses must have been taken within the last year and have been carried out by a UKATA or NDTG approved Training Provider. Demolition Safety Awareness Courses must have been carried out in the last 3 years and have been carried out by an NDTG approved Training Provider

Step 3

Has passed a CSCS/NDTG Touch Screen Test.

If you wish to undertake the touch screen test at Hemel Hempstead, please complete the booking form. Alternatively, please contact Prometric on 0344 994 4488, to arrange a test at a centre near you.

Step 4

Send to CSkills Data Management Unit with appropriate fees

This card is not renewable.

You must now proceed onto the Industry Assessment route to obtain a Labourer Card.

Please note, courses must have been taken within two years. Asbestos Awareness courses must be carried out by a UKATA or NDTG approved Training Provider.

£15 for the card fee. Cheque must be made payable to ConstructionSkills
