This card is for those who are in charge of a demolition site on a daily basis.

Operatives are expected to have a great technical understanding of the Demolition Industry.

The operative would have previously held a full Topman Card OR applied as a Direct Entry Candidate. Candidates are required to undertake the NDTG 12 Week Distance Learning Course and the NVQ Level 3- Construction Site Supervision (Demolition).

The operative should have an in depth knowledge of the GE700 and the BS6187-2000.

Step 1

Qualified Demolition Operative (Topman) card holder with sufficient industry experience OR a Direct Entry Candidate with a minimum of five years experience in the Demolition Industry

Step 2

Application Form CCDO/1 available from NFDC/NDTG

Step 3

Has attended a recent Asbestos Awareness/Demolition Safety Awareness Course. Contact your nearest NDTG Approved Training Centre.

Please note, courses must have been taken within two years. Asbestos Awareness courses must be carried out by a UKATA or NDTG approved Training Provider

Step 4

Has passed a Supervisors Touch Screen Test.

If you wish to undertake the touch screen test at Hemel Hempstead, please complete the booking form. Alternatively, please contact Prometric on 0344 994 4488, to arrange a test at a centre near you.

Step 5

Application form to be sent to NDTG with appropriate Fees.

Step 6

Direct Entry Industry Assessment passed (this step is only applicable for candidates who do not currently hold a Full CCDO Demolition Topman Card).

Step 7

Achieves required standard during Demolition Supervisor distance learning course and Achieves NVQ Level 3- Construction Site Supervision (Demolition).

Step 8

CCDO Demolition Supervisor Card issued

Step 1

Application Form CCDO/2 available from NFDC/NDTG

Step 2

You must attend a Demolition Supervisor Refresher Course through the NDTG

Step 3

Has passed a Supervisors Touch Screen Test.

Step 4

Send CCDO/2 Form to Data Management Unit with appropriate Fees

Member £1200 + VAT £15
Non-Member £1300 + VAT £15

All cheques to be made payable to NDTG Ltd with the exception of (*) to be made payable to Cskils.

Should your operative not currently hold a full topman card, he/she will be required to undertake a direct entry assessment to secure a place on this course. A further fee of £100 + VAT will be required for this direct entry assessment. Please contact the NDTG for further details
