Demolition Supervisor 12 week Distance Learning course
The next Demolition Supervisor 12 Week Distance Learning Course is scheduled to commence on Monday 16th February 2009.
The course has been revised and updated and therefore under the new format, your Operative(s) must attend the following sessions:
Induction & Lesson 1 – Monday 16th February 2009 – This session will be held at the following venue: Kings Langley Parish Council, Charter Court, Vicarage lane, Kings Langley, Herts, WD4 9HR Free Car Parks near Venue: The Nap & Off Langley Hill
Mid-term Assessment – Wednesday 1st April 2009 – This session will be held at the following venue: Resurgam House, Paradise, Hemel Hempstead, Herts, HP2 4TF
Final Assessment- Wednesday 13th May 2009 – This session will be held at the following venue: Resurgam House, Paradise, Hemel Hempstead, Herts, HP2 4TF
These sessions will commence at 9am. Please make your operative(s) available for the whole day. Your Operative(s) must be available to attend on these dates.
Please note: the change of venue from lesson one is due to the NATIONAL DEMOLITION TRAINING GROUP moving premises in March 2009. Therefore, we will have the facilities at our new training centre to accommodate your operatives.
The NDTG will do its best to run all courses, however if there are insufficient applications for one region, we may ask companies to consider placing their candidates on the corresponding course in the other region.
The Demolition Operative Safety Awareness course is covered in the Demolition Supervisor 12 week content. Please send copies of your Operative(s) Asbestos Awareness course certificates as soon as possible. The Demolition Health & Safety Touch Screen Test is also compulsory, which must be current (tests are valid for 2 years).
Please note: a Demolition Supervisor Course Certificate of Achievement will be issued on successful completion of the course. However, a CSCS Demolition Supervisor Card will only be issued once the Operative has achieved his/her Topman Demolition NVQ or if the Operative is already a full CCDO/CSCS Topman cardholder.
Please complete the CCDO/1 application form and return to the NDTG as soon as possible with the correct fees. Please also enclose your operatives(s) Demolition Health & Safety Touch Screen Test pass and copies of his/her Asbestos Awareness Certificates
